(37,573 posts)and the number you regularly get, clearly you'd be more mourned than celebrated.
I think my all time best OP only got about 70 recs and I was kinda proud of that, but really it wasn't me, it was a link from Barbara Ehrenreich that got the recs.
Having your demise celebrated would mean you got noticed. That's sort of a good thing, or something. The opposite of love is indifference, right?
Like that is supposed to be a comfort to people who are hated.
Interesting that you would stick up for skp since I just recently read that "he hated public education".
I just had emergency surgery myself a little over two weeks ago, but I generally do not post about my health problems here. Nor did I start a thread when my Blake died even though that hurt like hell.
I did post a poll once when I got out of the hospital in 2005. After surgery they asked me "who is President of the United States" and I was damned if I was gonna say "George W. Bush". I said "I think it is Al Gore" and the nurse laughed but I had to wonder. In 2005, should I have said John Kerry?
But now that I have posted a bunch of random thoughts, I sorta feel like I should demand some beer and travel money and many experiences which I am owed.
