2. Can't get much more special than that

Ultrasounds are cool, but only when necessary. Because of ultrasounds, I didn't need angiograms of my heart and carotids. I could wipe the goo off and go on my merry way instead of needing to have a tube pulled out of my femoral artery, after which I'd need to be on bedrest for hours.

Even transvaginal ultrasounds are cool when they're trying to figure out where a tumor is and what stage it might be.

None of it is cool when it's unnecessary. It adds to cost and the anguish of an already agonizing decision when it's used according to Republican law to shame women out of getting abortions which will save their lives.

Lawmakers, most especially the Republican ones, need to be prevented from attempting to practice medicine. It's like having a grocery clerk take out your gall bladder. The knowledge deficit means you are likely to be killed outright and if you survive, you will be maimed.
