They depend on this fear and persecution, hoping for concessions to their religious demands. They will not stop until all is conceded and we are living in a theocracy. The real fun will start when the various theocrats begin fighting among themselves to decide exactly which of the Christian denominations will rule. That is when the real bloodshed would start.
