In reply to the discussion: Can anybody near NYC take a sweet 7yo kitteh who is heartbroken after abandoned by owner? [View all]smokey nj
(43,853 posts)126. One of my husband's friends calls me the Sarah McLachlan
of Facebook because I share the photos of all the dogs and cats on deathrow at ACC.
I would take Tiger in a minute but we have 4 cats at the moment all of whom are getting up there in age. I just can't fathom how anyone can dump their cat because they got a new couch. People suck.

I'm a bit far away, but I did donate to my local shelter, inspired by this story

Totally heartless assholes, I hope they don't have any kids. I would worry about them.

As a tabby owner (she's a she!), the thing on the left is worth the destruction on the right

Tabbies get attached. Mine won't eat when I go on vacation and basically lays huddled on my bed

It's rare that any of us get as clear a chance to make a small but meaningful difference...

Contact the rescue group who pulled Tiger from the shelter, they'll probably be able to work with
