All kinds of theories around about it now, eh... Koch did it,. Bush did it.... maybe she just slipped. I truly have no idea...
She is, in my opinion, on our side for sure. I have heard her hold the feet of those on the right to the fire, albeit a campfire for marshmallows. :>
)....at least briefly.. I mean, it is NPR..how far can she go without getting in trouble? I expect if she could go farther she would.
Her show is not a political show. He guests and topics run the gamut from astrophysics to poetry to gender issues to music, just about everything. And they are usually very interesting people.
You know,,,, when the day's topic is politics, even when she follows up on info or opinions from those on the left, I sometimes have the feeling she is honestly questioning something they said, but...you know... more as devil's advocate,...not in the same way she questions those on the right.. She does not suffer fools... again as far as her NPR leash will allow...
I think her show is good for what it is.....in the many topics she covers and the background research she does.
That's my take.
