Should President Obama be asked by Democrats to pardon Marissa Alexander? [View all]

He can legally pardon her, can he not?

Marissa Alexander is the woman who was convicted and sentenced to 20 years for firing a warning shot at her abusive ex-husband in Florida. She was denied a defense under the "Stand Your Ground" law.
