But sometimes you just have to speak up and take a stand.

That's something I read all the time on DU - and yet so few are willing to speak up and take a stand when it comes to what gets posted on this website.

Everyone is walking on eggshells, double- and triple-thinking their every word, their every post, their every thought, living in fear of "THE HIDE".

Well, if you can't stand up against the people who are doing their best to be divisive and pit Democrats one against the other, I think that's a pretty good indication that you can't stand up against anything that really matters.

If I'm going to wind up being silenced, at least it will be for standing up to the dividers, and not for having "gone along to get along" by agreeing with their divisiveness - along with their agenda - out of fear of pointing out the obvious.

It will be amusing to see the "jury results" on this post - "She spoke up for Dems standing together instead of fighting with each other - a position no longer acceptable on DemocraticUnderground."
