When 5 year olds being shot in the face does nothing you know insanity rules with these idiots. To argue even against even simple background checks proves how nuts they are, they are willing to let people with mental issues tote military grade weapons.

Australia had a horrible mass shooting 15 or so years ago and they did something about it. In the USA nothing changes.

It all stems from a complete misunderstanding of the 2nd Amendment - written at a time when we had no standing army and there were threats not here today. It was not meant as a justification for gun rights for everyone in 2015, no questions asked.
