It' more or less fear of the government, this year it's tailored for Obama.

There has been talk of martial law and Fema camps in the survivalist camp at least since I came on the internet in around 2000. Doesn't matter who the President is, the Mysterious powers that be, often member of groups that start with "B" or "I" are going to declare Martial law, take our guns and rights away, and put us all in camps.

I do have to admit that for some of that Woo section of the internet Obama makes it scarier.
