Statistically Dems are the most flexible about their media intake. They express more trust in media than RWers do:

Much of what little media there is that passes for left of center is just comedians watching Fox news with you -- Colbert, Daily Show, etc. We obsess about RW media and make refuting the center of our own media. That is all defense and no offense so we never put real points on the score board. And worse, we accept the frames pushed by RW media which helps advance their agenda.

We are perhaps too easily pacified with laughter at our own media impotence.
