investors took over who didn't understand how radio works.

From a personal point of view, the radio corporation that aired AA locally for me, was owned by RWingers so they put it on the lowest frequency station they had. In hilly country it was hard to hear it uninterrupted by weather. When it rained it sometimes stayed off the air for days before they fixed the problem. Then one day they put on different programming and no one aired any progressive radio again. It is the same to this day. The radio owners are all right wingers who prefer to put clowns on like Rush Limbaugh and company instead of good radio hosts.

It seemed like this was happening around the country because radio has been monopolized into about four giant companies all owned and run by reich wingers. None will ever have a chance unless government break up the monopolies and there is true competition in the business.
