I just tell them that the debt is a measure of how much the rich have stolen from us. If you want to reduce the deficit & eventually the debt, start scaling down the size of the thefts with regulation & the tax code.

I then ask if they believe in the Death Penalty, and they invariably do. I tell them that I believe in the Death Penalty too, but only for corporate "persons."
