I am and have been working to elect people in this state. The incumbents can be harder to get rid of than chiggers. We don't give up.

As far as nationalizing an election, there are ways to do that. Matching money on some level and backing basic beliefs such as union rights can be beneficial.

We live in a Citizens United world right now. That is the game on the table. We can play by the old rules or blunt their attacks with just as much publicity and other things. That takes money unfortunately.
