(80,708 posts)The Earth is not 6000 years old. Hurricane Katrina didn't hit New Orleans because of gay people. And yes, we went to the moon- as, again, evidenced by the high resolution photos of the landing sites taken in recent years. Once people go BACK and re-visit some of those sites, the "proof" will be even more incontrovertible, not that it matters.
I'm all for reasonable intellectual debate and open-mindedness, but one can bash one's head all day up against batshittery and denial; it's a waste of time. Like arguing with Alex Jones*. Why fucking bother?
NASA "admitted" they faked "some of" the moon landing photos? Where? Got a link to back up that assertion? I don't think that is correct.
*Speaking of which- okay, here's a hypothetical: Parents of kids killed at Newtown, after Alex Jones claims their kids didn't actually exist because, he says, the entire shooting was a phony government false flag operation (true. he did that. Something else for which I would posit "there is no debate"
. Okay, so, like Buzz Aldrin, those parents get pissed at Alex Jones. It COULD BE because they are offended to the core of their being at the hurtful bullshit that tin foil rectum is spouting. Or, it COULD BE because "they're guilty that they got caught being part of the conspiracy".
See why debating this shit is a waste of time? Yes, Buzz Aldrin could be just angry and guilty because he got caught. Has nothing to do with this peabrained idiot with a camcorder harassing him over mindless conspiracy bullshit.
