This is what terrorism looks like. The Chicago PD disappeared nine Occupy activists via warrantless midnight home invasion two nights ago, holding them without charge but eventually releasing six of them. Today the remaining three were charged with terrorism. The evidence? Home-brewing equipment. Occupy continues to expose the dead hand of the corporate state. The message the authorities unmistakeably want you to hear: keep your head down, work your 9-5 and don't question the status quo. You are powerless, hopeless, defeated; we are in control.

The message you needto hear instead: the rich and powerful are afraid of us and our message. That's why they coordinated simultaneous paramilitary midnight raids of all the major occupations. It's why every serious challenge to the status quo is met with the full force of riot cops in SWAT gear. It's why the corporate state has no choice but to resort to naked authoritarian brutality and repression. They can't afford to ignore us any longer. We need to keep up the pressure, lose our fear, and replace this whole rotten, dying system and start over.
