21. There are several different meditation techniques, some of them do change consciousness.

I would call it the only authentic high as it does not involve dulling any senses but rather bypasses some of the reality filters that keep us from experiencing very much of what our senses take in.

The perception of reality is nothing more than what our senses pick up minus over 90% that is filtered out.

I spent most of my younger years trying to open the doors of perception, there are openings, the more you perceive, the more actual reality is "seen", the higher you get.

It is nothing at all like being drunk however, maybe you have gotten high on meditation and just did not realize it.
