Transphobia is real and part of transphobia is the lack of interest in it or awareness of it. Many trans people live in fear of being discovered, and those who are "out" face all types of discrimination, much which is never discussed, even in the GLB community. These women are being murdered for finally being who they were meant to be. It has to stop.
