7. It made me curious, so I had to look it up.

I was stuck on the working definition of "candidate". I didn't know if that took effect after the Primaries, after the Conventions or would it apply to anyone who has a little credibility and says "I wanna be president" ?

The big variable is ... anyone can get protection if Obama says they get protection.
