IS this really inappropriate for a jr high school kid to wear to school?

63. I remember those days, too.

We had to kneel, and if our hem was just above the floor, we had to stay after school, & if it was more than an inch (sometimes a half inch, we were at the mercy of whomever held the ruler), we were sent home to change & had to stay after school the following day.

Those were the days of panty girdles & instead of slips, bloomers. When we sat, we couldn't let the clips holding our nylons show (which were attached to our girdles). Of course, this made sense, but it happened anyway.

Then after school & on week-ends, we wore mini-skirts - omg! me now an old lady & thinking about me in a mini skirt, imagine that! woo hoo!


Go figure.

My days were the 60s too, & public school, the same as you.

The girl in the OP's picture, looks very nice to me. I'm pretty much a traditional old lady, & I have to say, I've worn worse & less than this young girl.
