a parasite on the public school system:
uniforms, dress codes and micromanaging hair lengths for students
draconian punishments for students
sweatshop conditions for teachers
lowest pay for teachers
conformity rules in most charter schools
leaders only concerned with their own future and not the students
usually run by right wing zealots with axes to grind against public education
only giving students the courses needed to pass NCLB testing and get AYP
and the students look so happy. no one is smiling at all.
while President Obama goes to a public school:
individuality
dress codes loosely enforced
teachers treated as professionals
leaders usually concerned with education
no wonder the kids at Obama's schools are smiling.
