hired private detectives to go to Arkansas to dig up something -- anything -- they could
find that would be at least embarrassing to Bill Clinton, since they couldn't find anything
to impeach him with. It took a few years. Then the detectives found that Bill had had
extra-marital affairs, which was not an impeachable offense. But the Repubs. managed
to make something out of it after all -- as it turned out later, through illegal trickery.

A lot of Repubs. did work together to have Bill Clinton impeached. It wouldn't surprise me
if some of those taking part in this pursuit were from various corporations.
