(39,215 posts)50. She is in a foster home. This money will go to pay what is
already being paid by the state. I would love to help her but I am not sure that her attorney understands what a state does to any money for those who are being helped in any way by the state. My understanding is that since her mother died she is an orphan.
Unless this is for attorney fees then it will go to him.
God knows the girl needs help but I just think this is not the way unless it somehow is enough to get her out of the system entirely.
Helping the poor with money when they are on various programs does nothing but pay the taxpayer their money back.
