lay offed that morning @ Verizon
My cousin .he is in a regional office I do not believe he knew what offices were getting the cut yet when I spoke with him last weekend but they are going from 20 ROs to 6 or something . Blood bath . He has hated his job for a long time but really can not afford to lose it either
I Know older folks who rode the telco hey days and got out before the industry turned in to a master and servant relationship

Verizon is laying off around 10,000 in the US but are hiring about 6000 in India.
