In reply to the discussion: Is Starbucks brewing a 'War On Christmas'? Holiday cup has no candy canes, reindeer, or snowmen [View all]Liberal_in_LA
(44,397 posts)38. "Starbucks REMOVED CHRISTMAS from their cups because they hate Jesus,"
A group of Christians turned to social media to share their frustration with Starbucks' new holiday cups, because the cups don't have "Merry Christmas" as part of the design. But there isn't much to the design in general.
The coffee corporation has chosen to take a more minimal approach to their design this year and have made the cups a simple red with their green and white logo. That's all.
"Starbucks REMOVED CHRISTMAS from their cups because they hate Jesus," said Joshua Feuerstein in a viral Facebook post that has gotten over 10.7 million views and over 403 thousand shares since Thursday.
