General Discussion
In reply to the discussion: If I walked into a Target and saw a woman openly carrying this Terminator gun, [View all]I do admit ......... I hate guns. Hate them. Growing up on a farm, I know that they're necessary at times for protection against predators, but seriously - self protection in a store with possibly hundreds of other people who could be shot only because they were there? I'm trying to think of the number of pts. we've transported who were involved in accidental shootings who just couldn't imagine how it happened. I had a little friend in elementary school who was shot by his brother, my cousin was killed hunting when going through a barbed-wire fence. Guns are never 'safe and non threatening', there is always the possibility of someone being shot.
I just don't see a reason for one except to protect livestock, etc. or ...... maybe, self-protection at home if someone really feels there is a danger to their lives in the area they live, and those guns should be very, very safely stored.
Strapping on a deadly weapon like in this picture to head down to the store, to me - no matter where it is, is absolutely freaking nuts.
