But having served as a moderator in the olden days, I think this system is much more transparent. At least posts aren't getting completely erased.

I remember the days of ...

1) No Sex Threads
2) No Copycat Threads
3) No Nicknames for candidates

So many rules were arbitrary. This new system allows for more common sense.

I think the issue of too few hides, in your opinion, stems from the fact that liberals are less likely to apply censorship unless there is compelling evidence to do so. Unless you say "FU" to someone or go completely off the rails, I'm likely to vote to LEAVE.
