I did a very specific search for her and did not ever reach any public records that indicate what you claim. During this period of time is was seen as a way to get a legitimate birth certificate by going to Calgary; we came across this with one of my male co-workers who (several years ago) was almost refused entry back into the United States because they discovered he was adopted but showing as born in Calgary. Definitely someone needs to completely investigate with an accurate knowledge of the applicable law.
