45. What can you say at a time like this...

My wife and I grew up halfway between San Berdoo and LA, the San Gabriel Valley. We know people, who live in that area. We know people, who work in that field. We now live in Northern California, in Fremont, my wife is a school librarian. Her school is surrounded by million dollar homes. Yesterday, she told me that someone found three bullets on her school's grounds. I couldn't even tell her the news from Berdoo, I just told her to watch the news. I couldn't even tell her what had happened, I couldn't even wrap my mind around it. I don't know what to say, what can I tell you that would let you know that you're are not alone? Maybe I can't think of anything to say, because deep down inside, I know that's not true. And that is incredibly sad to realize.
