19. Me? I'm using it as a bludgeon against itself

This place mirrors FR far more than it likes to admit. Dominated by ideologues on the far fringes of their respective parties just waiting for that REAL Democrat/Republican to be nominated so the people will awake to wanting uncompromising doctrinaire extremes and vote like true believers. Echo chambers do that. They convince poeople that every right-thinking human in the world would abandon their 10-term Representative if they just knew how he voted on HR 3457 that raised a mass transit fee from a poor neighborhood 3c or was actually polite to a Muslim once. That a presidential candidate will rise or fall on whether 3 or 8% of their money comes from banks or unions. That people would and must cut off relatives from their life immediately if they ever use the word "bitch" even as a verb, or if they don't immediately follow Hillary's name with it every time they hear it. People on ideologically pure sites are just so damn wrapped up in either thinking that mentioning Muslims as a group aren't too hot on the question of gay rights is unforgivable Islsmophobia and, bizarrely, racist, or thinking that mentioning Muslims aren't each and every one willing if not planning to skin alive a thousand Christian babies to destroy the west is being a nancy-boy commie pinko subversive that they just can't see reality and gauge real public reaction if it bit them on the fucking nose.
