should be on the major networks and PBS -- so anyone could see them, as long as they had a TV. No computer or cable contract required.

Guess what. The networks didn't want their evening programming preempted so they only would agree to host them on the weekends. So the DNC agreed. And Saturday nights are also when the Rethugs are having their only network debates.

But the Rethugs don't care if people without cable or computers are closed out, so they didn't mind scheduling the majority of their debates outside of the major networks.
