Why would a woman who is breast feeding make them wonder about the "return on the investment"? I am not understanding why this is a problem. Women who are mothers are quite capable of handling multiple roles in their lives. We have been doing it for eons.
"Consequences of their actions" - there are now consequences for wanting to breast feed a child while being a soldier in the military or is it just that this picture is offensive to you or others? I am not understanding how it is that what they are doing is so selfish and detrimental to other women. I think they are just letting people know that there is nothing wrong with being a working mother in the military and that yes, they can do multiple tasks at once - including breastfeeding. I actually praise them for this. If people are offended at a "boob" shot (as someone above so eloquently said 
) then they need to grow up.
