3. Oh, calm down abit There are children in there,

you know. Are you old enough to remember the Philadelphia row house standoff? There was no particular danger of violence from the fringies inside, but the government finally set the house on fire and burned, what, 4 children?, to death because press coverage of the standoff was getting embarrassing for them.

So far all this group has accomplished has been to be revealed for the nincompoops they are. Not only have they shown any real inclination to do more than brandish guns for the cameras, having proven their profound ignorance (i.e., made their point as they see it) they're trying to "negotiate" an end so they can get out of there. Some have business at home they need to get back to, and since the feds have been so disobliging as to not take them seriously enough to end it, they now have to worry about how to do it themselves. Just being handcuffed and taken away in front of cameras apparently isn't how they'd prefer to go.

Personally, I think we should bill these terminal ignoramuses for the cost of 12 years of public education, in addition to the costs they've run up here.

I strongly suspect requiring them to spend the next few decades paying for this fun, starting while serving sentences, of course, would be a far stronger deterrent to future nitwit acting out than killing a few of these guys.

Who knows, that stomach-clenching specter might even encourage some to READ the Constitution before deciding on an appropriate look for their "revolutionary" clothes.
