40. Here's where they are (not rhetorical)

Dem leadership types have an irritating habit of waiting for republicans to put this stuff in place and then they file lawsuits.. In the meantime, people are cut from registration lists, made to jump through flaming hoops to vote, or just give up because they often find out too late to act themselves.

We KNOW this is how republicans "win" elections, and yet our leadership always seems startled when they do it. They are willing to spend bazillions on lawsuits that take years to settle, and while they are doing that, republicans are putting their next plan into action.

Republicans tell us over and over , what they have planned, and while the ordinary people seem to get it, the leadership somehow believes that lawsuits will scare them into NOT doing it.

Elections are funny things. When someone loses because there was cheating going on, it's too late for them to be an effective change-mechanism, since they are out of office then...and if they squeak by and win, they push it all aside and forget about changes that need to be made for next time.

Republicans think a generation ahead, and I'm sure they already have their next thing in the works.
