28. I read a stat about inpatient admits

To acute psych units that 80% of patients had histories of trauma in their childhood. It changes your brain chemistry. B-lines can be a pia to treat but I've had a number of patients who had such horrific abuse as children that I had nothing but admiration that they survived it. They are constantly being told how fucked up they are as adults that does very little to help them understand the positive strength and resilience they used to survive.
