7. The first year we moved here 1997?

it was below freezing....day and night.

Our heater broke down.

We were unprepared for the cold and we covered up with tons of clothing..and our animals were under those clothes as well.

Since my SIG Other is afraid of gas, we now heat by kerosene heaters, of which we have 3 to 5, and they can really heat up the house.
