Men invented the internet ( some participated in the process, I guess )

Men with pocket protectors ( no )

Men who idolized Mr. Spock ( no)

cried when Steve Jobs died ( no )

Geeks. ( really? )

Give them their due ( How gracious of you, Mr. Communications Major. Too bad 'geeks' aren't important like you. )

Etc. etc.

While we're on the subject, did anyone else listen to Diane Rehm this morning? The lady from US-CERT seemed to know her business, but those two reporters were absolutely clueless. I mean, their solution to "cyberwarfare" is to write code with less bugs. Really? Wow, never would have thought of that one, lol. They also explained how your computer has to be both powered off AND have wifi disabled in order to be "hackproof".

I especially liked that guy from the Washington Post who repeatedly used "cyber" as a noun. I can guarandamntee you that this guy couldn't set the time on a microwave oven. The fact that anyone takes these people seriously is a travesty.

le sigh...
