5. How are they "defeating the basic rights of others"?

None of these people (the concealed carriers), are forcing or demanding that professors, faculty, other students
curtail or be mindful of what they have to say.

If they're against firearms on campus fine... I have no problem with that, but at least be honest about it, and not
blame the other side for a position based on poorly argumentative reasons.

If they have genuine safety concerns, then state and explain why.

Going on the record that the gun kids on campus somehow will bring about 1A infringements is just plain bullshit.
