9. The homeless shelter...

...is definitely 'skid row' but it's surrounded by high end shopping, theater/opera, restaurants, night clubs and the Utah Jazz arena. It was allegedly two black kids from Kenya that got into some kind of altercation at the Gateway outdoor mall area. The kid who was shot was holding a stick of some kind. Cops were called and the kid with the stick was shot 4 times. I'm pretty sure he's deceased.

A riot ensued as people were disgusted by the cops mowing down the 17 yo kid with the stick. He was there with his 19 yo friend...
