(10,559 posts)From your post, I have no idea what DU post you are talking about, when it was made or why it was "proven" to be false. Even the "Rec" number you provide only adds to the mystery as presumably anyone psychic enough to find the object of your ire and act on your entreaties is going to lower the number of "wrong" people.
Adding fuel to the fires of irritation are the numerous requests from others to link or otherwise identify your subject matter, and your subsequent incredibly rude/snide/insulting remarks.
I scanned through replies looking for a link - any link! - that matched your non-existent description, but nothing with 147 RECS was to be found, and the people posting links admitted they were speculating.
I have a number of people on Ignore (a recent decision which is making DU a much more enjoyable experience!) so maybe I am missing details in unseeable sub-threads.
For me, this has become a lesson in "bad posts which do not inform". If you provide a reasonable response (I suggest notification about an edit that contains an apology and link would be a great way to begin), I will consider it to be a simple aberration. If not, my "ignore" list can grow by one more under the "who wants to play hide-and-seek with information requests"?
