(856 posts)Maybe giving to the individual candidates that are not Third Way Candidates. I know our individual donations cannot match those of Wall Street but it does give the real Democratic Candidates a better chance.
Never let up on the pressure to adhere to Real Democratic principles by sending letters, emails, signing petitions and making phone calls. Also supporting groups like Move On and others that push for a progressive agenda.
These are just thoughts right off the cuff. I guess not giving up and making sure that the voices of Bernie Sanders' and Elizabeth Warren's are heard. I truly believe that if most people are educated on the facts rather than the sound bites, they would be with us. How to do that? I wish I knew the answer or had enough money to get the message out there. Even many DU members, who you think would be well informed about these issues, are not.
The best thing we could do to ensure Third Way principles do not become the Democratic Platform would be to nominate Bernie Sanders as our Democratic Candidate! Pure and Simple!
