How do I know.
I was born in a sundown town. Now, if you don't know what that is, A "Sundown Town" was a town that made it illegal for N!%%@$ to be in the city limits after sunset. There were signs saying that at the city limits. They could not stay there. They could not even buy gas of food there.
The "Green Book" was created so that blacks knew where they could buy gas and find a hotel. (Shell was known for refusing to sell them gas. Esso sold gas and let them use the bathrooms.)
An religious persecution was common right through the 60's.
We need to vote to keep their toxic brand out of the White House.
