30. Near NYC, so have done two here when there were protests (pre-Obama) and a bunch of people

from Portland, Boston, upstate and Delaware came in. Also drove up to one in Boston once- a few people flew in, we all ended up at Will Pitt's house. And two other times went down to DC for protests and meetups. Some people crashed with DUers they got along with, some split hotel rooms. I would say to get any sizable group, you'd have to meet where a city is either Milwaukee or Chicago, hopefully with something else going on? (the protests made it a good excuse to travel)
Or somewhere between if some Duer(s) were willing to host or be a guide to the area. Try the state forums and lounge to gauge interest maybe.
Anyway, haven't done it in years, and many of the people I met are no longer here, but they have visited me since (and cat sat for me) and vice versa and we keep up. So it gives me a sentimental feeling about this place.
