it was enacted in 2005. That gave homeowners and others an excuse when they shot someone and it would be determined by LE or a court if it was justified. If not justified, that shooting would be a crime. It's not that you can shoot anyone for any reason at any time in Florida and always get away with it.

The grabbing in this case put bruises on the reporter's arm and was enough to charge Trump's campaign manager with misdemeanor assault. He grabbed her and pulled her away. He was very rough with her.

P.S. I'm not a lawyer either.
