31. People's opinions change. Bill's infidelities have nothing to do with any LGBT issues, I can't

imagine any connection there.

In reference to DOMA, it's clear from all documentation that the Clinton administration considered the issue to be a state's issue, keeping in mind how quickly things change, blink, and it's some 20 years ago. Times and popular thinking changes rapidly in this day and age. Republicans turn into Democrats. It's great to have tattoos. It's cool and trendy even to be gender/sexuality/fluid. Bruce Jenner became a chick. Twerking is socially acceptable. People can change their minds. It's not a crime or even an injustice. The moment is now, and the statements now must be the ones we rely upon.

And just because the Reagan faction didn't know what to do about AIDS/HIV and didn't do precisely the best things absolutely necessary in hindsight, especially considering what we know now about AIDS/HIV, doesn't mean that a small bit of credit can't be given for, as Mrs. Clinton said, [sic] 'for starting a national conversation' about AIDS/HIV. They did that. It wasn't much, but shouting now that 'it wasn't enough' and somehow blaming Clinton for the Reagan era actions serves nothing. The road to cure for AIDS/HIV has been a very long one. It's a complex and complicated disease that is nearly 100% preventable on a personal level. But credit is due as it was during Reagan's tenure, in 1987 lest we forget, that critical actions involving protection of the US blood supply literally halted the spread of AIDS/HIV via blood transfusions. The national dialogue indeed began under Reagan, this is not false and it makes no sense to villify Clinton because of Reagan. Kind of falling off the chair, really, since she was speaking at a funeral. She was supposed to say what, exactly, at that particular time and place?

I'm no reagan fan, none whatsoever. But I will say this in a modicum of defense; Ronnie Reagan had absolutely no effing clue about what to do about anything unless he was told to. He was nothing more than a daft puppet manipulated by the bush cabal, in total, sum and completion. They practically told him when it was time to poop and how to wipe. He really was the accidental president and for his sake, I'm really glad that he lost all memory of the horrors he went through at the hands of the bush cabal. He was nothing more than a gentle fool who got rode hard.

You can give your vote to whomever you choose. But a vote for anyone but clinton when it comes down to the wire, will put trump in the white house. Don't blame me.
