Seems to me that if mainstream Democrats and liberals in general did better they still wouldn't be the right match for you and many others gathered here who are farther left.

The contribution of new, positive ideas is always good and valuable, but I agree that that contribution has been swamped by the constant disagreements, and ultimately hostility, that has developed between factions. Coming on to find screens full of anti-Democrat attacks is not fun for us either.

So, I wish you a more satisfying place to chat and trade ideas, one of the forums and groups where other lefties who ultimately can't tolerate mainstream Democrats and liberals have gathered. They're out there. I personally would look for one full of people excited and inspired by their own ideology, though, and avoid like the plague those that exist only to badmouth Democrats. Those are out there too.
