Don't get me wrong. I get the point of this cartoon.
But I'd back away from describing this as 'hillarious' if you don't mind.

Suicide among veterans is still way too high (as if there's an acceptable number).

PTSD is not a condition that goes away with the cable news cycle. It endures. And the toll on veterans and their families continues. Day by mother-ducking day. (Thank you, auto-correct!)

Meanwhile, the Repuke-led Congress continue to spend their time campaigning and fund raising -- thanks, 60 Minutes, for pointing that out to us in TV Land. These so-called public servants rage about waiting times at VA hospitals and out-patient clinics, and easily segue to talking points about privatization. While cutting or withholding funds from the VA.

In the meantime, wounded warriors are hurting. And the non-profit organization which capitalizes on their situation continues to rake in big bucks, while spinning through their scandalous revelations in main stream media.

OK, rant over. <sigh!>

Thanks Garry, for keeping this in our stream of consciousness, such as it is.
