260. You often think of bobbolink?! Jeez, so do I. She's another one who caused great division at DU...

Do you know someone from DU actually gave her a laptop computer to help her out? Or tried to. I didn't bookmark that thread, though I am sure someone here could find it. It just did not end well. Her "activism" consisted of viciously attacking anyone who disagreed with her on any point, even if they agreed with her in principal.

People are not "mean" when they invoke the adage (which my mother should have taught me for my own self-protection): Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

It's like with all other forms of abuse: The first order of business is to stop the abuse; only then can you go on to attempt to understand the poor widdle psyche of the abuser. Torch The Witch is a grifter -- she's abusing this community. I don't care what her underlying mental problems are at this point. She has made it abundantly clear long since that she will ignore every attempt to help that does not involve cash in her hand.
