Trump's a different kind of animal. And he's got a fanbase of fascist loyalists caught up in a cult of personality.

Cruz might have been very scary ideologically, but I didn't fear him as an opponent.

Trump, as both an opponent and potential president, scares the ever living daylights out of me. And it has nothing to do with any percieved weaknesses or criticisms of our own nominee, whoever he or she might ultimately be. I'd be terrified if Barack Obama was still running against Trump, or we had the 2nd coming of FDR against Trump.

Trump's just one scary, crazy dude, period.
