Republicans voted for Trump in huge numbers. They want him!
All this hand wringing means that the "establishment" is just not in tune with what the party wants. They thought they were the real Republicans and were so clever in conning the ignorant masses into voting for them. They knew they were tricking people into voting against their own interests and then kept them in the dark by throwing lie after lie at them. So clever to hold onto power by deceit and be free to do whatever they wanted without being beholden to the stupid voters.
Well the scam is paying off. The fools who kept them in power now ARE the power and the clever elite are bing pushed out into the cold. Either they will tow the line the idiot masses throw to them or they will be demoted to outcasts.
Just goes to show what you reap when you hold your power based on falsehoods and chicanery instead of honestly trying to govern.
Let's just hope the Democrats never get this kind of arrogant brain cancer.
