However he will get obliterated by the combined might of the Clinton and Obama political machines when they really crank it up for the GE. He was able to get away with juvenile attacks during the GOP primary, that wont fly in a GE. There is so much stuff the dems can use to sink him. It will probably also significantly affect his businesses. I am sure Trump does not want investigative journalists or opposition researchers starting to dig in some of his past questionable schemes. He might end up in jail.
